Greece, Here I come!!

What? Greece! Yeah I still can't believe it! I leave for the beautiful country of Greece in just two days! Though I am feeling a little overwhelmed with all the stuff that I hope to get done before then, I know it will be fine! God has brought me through this far and he is going to do it again! Let me just take some time to testify as to what God has done recently!
Well, God opened up an opportunity for me to go home over Memorial Day! It was kind of last minute, but I was able to go home for an extended weekend and spend some good quality time with my family. I don't know what it is about leaving the country and having to see your family right before that, but anyways it was a much needed break! I was able to chill out with my parents as well as my brother and sister-in-law up at the cottage in Baldwin for the weekend! I even got to hang out with my bestest friend Holly who I hadn't seen since Christmas! It was fabulous! Holly and I walked, talked, and ate a lot! It was wonderful! I was able to work on my tan and get some homework done, reading all those exciting seminary books while enjoying the sway of the parents' pantoon boat! There is nothing better than that. I was so blessed too to spend time with my bro and sister-in-law who maybe accepting a call to a church while I am gone and so might not be there when I get back from Greece! So it was great to spend some quality time with them! Being that it was Memorial day, I was able to see lots of other family members at the good ole pocklucks we have for pretty much any holiday! We are a family that loves our food!
When I arrived back to school, I hit the ground running and God showed me his faithfulness yet again by giving me the strength to press through finals week and finish all my papers before the deadlines! I turned in my last papers on Friday and have since been sort of walking around in a daze not really believing that Greece is actually going to happen! However, it is just around the corner... Packing has been an interesting challenge! I am leaving for Atlanta on the 13th of June for a training camp and will be in Greece by the 16th to begin the camp. By then I will be working at a Volleyball camp. After that I will go over to work a Youth Camp through the church there followed up by some culture learning and then ended with a final Volleyball camp at the end. I'm excited to see what God is going to do and what he is going to teach me... but to be really honest.... I have no idea what to expect. But that however, makes it all the more adventurous!! And I love my adventures!! So yeah, God is faithful and I am so excited to see a new dimension to that faithfulness this summer. If you thinking about me, please pray that God gives us safe travel, divine appointments to share the Gospel, strong team chemistry, and for me personally, that the Holy Spirit would refresh me during my journey there. Hopefully, I will be able to have internet access in order to show you pictures of my adventures through the blog and send out updates! I appreciate your prayers, support and for just taking the time to check up on what is going on in my life! I'll be back again soon!
