Just in case you didn't notice, this first picture was supposed to give you a quick look at my room before I managed to put it together! I figured everyone loves a good before and after picture.
Life in the new apartment has been full of fun as both of my wonderful roommates enjoy hosting. Every Monday night we have "Monday night dinners" with some of the young single internationals in the area. My roommates, Ashely and Stefanie, both enjoy cooking which tends to be a huge perk for me! Things are slowly settling into Summer mode around here and soon I will be hopping on plane to spend some time with the fam. I am really looking forward to my time at home, hoping to use it as a time to reflect, refill and recoup. I hope to be able to touch base with quite a few of my friends and family as well as cuddle with my chihuahua and take jogs on all my old jaunts! So until then I keep plugging on looking forward to enjoying the sun on the west Michigan shore once again!
