Christmas Break

It's amazing what a good break, a little snow, family and friends and a lot of wonderfully delicious food will do for you! I can't believe that I have been back at school for a little more than a week already. It is kind of Crazy how the time flew by but it was very very well spent. I left for home after finishing up my first quater, here at Fuller, on the 12th of December. I hopped on a plane and made the journey back to Michigan while picking up a few hours along the way. My parents were getting ready for my arrival by graciously stocking the fridge with chocoalte milk and answering phone calls for me before I even got home. My dad even made a fresh batch of his beyond delicious cinimin rolls just for me. If you have never had them....you just don't know. I left palm trees and entered a winter wonderland which I totally welcomed because it made it much easier for me to get into the Christmas season!
Top Ten list of things enjoyed over Christmas.... I enjoyed...
10. Making, with my family, scrumtous Christmas cookies throuroughly covered with frosting, sprinkles and the like while consuming a few of the "accidently" broken ones along the way.
9. Kicking out 6 amazing miles along my favorite stretch of running road... Lakeshore Drive in Holland and watching an amazing Sunset afterwards.
8. Eating at my favorite Restuarnte "Franks" known for their "Best burgers around!" on more than 8 seperate occassions with different family and friends for both Breakfast and lunch.
7. Playing amazing games of Settlers of Catan with my Siblings on Christmas day and the day after.... I won ... while one time I did claim a victory.
6. Watching oodles of moives such as Cinderella man, Fever Pitch, Karatee Kid I & II, and Sweet Home Alabama for the sheer fact that I felt like it and I had nothing else to do....ahh free time... what a rare comodity.
5. Cross country skiing through the forests of towering pines near the shores of Lake Michigan all the while getting lost in the trails I have been on numurous times... oh well, I always found my way back.
4. Attending a wedding of a dear friend first met on one of my Venezuela trips and hearing the beautiful love story of how God brought her and her husband together.... giving me hope. :)
3. Hot tubbing along with other unexciting but wonderful activities with my friend Holly with whom no matter what I am doing, I always have a great time full of silliness.
2. Running a New Years Eve 5 K with my good friend Erica and recieving an amazing long sleeve tee, winning another free shirt and through a raffel winning a free massage which I will soon be enjoying on my next adventure home.
1. Spending unlimited time with my Parents Leo and Cherie, my two brothers Cody and Billy and my very cool sister-in-law Rochelle AND all the other amazing relatives I am so blessed with....Especially my cousins....Just to name a few.... Dainen, Cassie, Philip, Jodi, Austin, Melony, Renee, Ruth, Paul, Jeremy, Samantha, Shanda, Danika, Xaivier, Xander, Riley, Ashton, Britany, Brook, Brandy, Mishaia, Kaliegh, Aliah, Johnny, Jessica, Andy, Sarah, Levi, Julia, and the list goes on and on and on....yeah big family.

Needless to say, I was completely blessed with an amazingly relaxing break. I just soaked it up. I definately needed it!
